Mr Malhi did an excellent job on my broken ankle/fibula. He inserted a plate and seven screws then removed them, on my request, 12 months later. I saw Mr Malhi originally at St Thomas' A&E as a NHS patient and then 12 months later at Blackheath as a private patient. The break is very well set and the scar is healing well. He is personable and happy to explain any detail. Overall I am very satisfied with the results.

I have an odd problem relating to my arthritic knee. Mr Malhi and I had detailed discussions about the options and I felt he understood me well. Having tried other options I decided to have a total knee replacement at Blackheath Hospital. As always Mr Mahli looked after me well when in hospital and also on the follow up to date. I am very pleased that I chose him as my consultant. Also Mr Mahli's PA Lauren is really helpful and that means making arrangements to see him etc are very smooth.

Re -My Hip Replacement At Guys Hospital London. I like to say sincere thanks to Mr Arfan Malhi, For the excellent Care I had at Guys Hospital. My hip replacement was made as comfortable as possible for me. His Team each & everyone of them were excellent, & gave me their utmost Care & Attention. My experience was made very comfortable for me, & I was made feel at ease at every stage of the procedure. I particularly liked the attention to detail. The Doctors Listened. Very important. I had some fears beforehand, but was made feel at ease. The Treatment was exceptional. Thank you Mr. Arfan Malhi (Surgeon, ) & all your team. Especially Mr. David George, whom I seen for my follow up. He answered any fears I had. My follow up was a pleasant experience. So I’d like to thank each & everyone that helped with my recovery & aftercare. You surely made it as pleasant as could be, & made an old lady very happy.Special thanks to the Surgeon Mr. A. Malhi, for the wonderful job he done on me. I was in horrific pain for two years beforehand. Now it’s all gone. I had a hip replacement operation at Guys on 10th September 2020, all appointments were face to face and not rushed. Obviously the amazing Mr Malhi has performed a lot of hip operations, but he never made it feel like it was just routine, he explained I had small bones and he used a very small fitting, this could have been missed,his manner at all times reassured me, and I feel confident that if I had had or do have any problems with hip I could get an appointment to sort it out. Mr Malhi has given me my walking, running, dancing leg back, as without this operation and its complete success none of this would be possible. Four months after the op I was able to do a 2km jog and when Park run resumed in July 2021 I went back to the Saturday 5 km ( time today 20th November 21 was 34.18 so very pleased) I have no pain at all and no limp. I cannot thank him and the team at Guys enough, this is NHS at its best I do not believe that going private would have given me anything better. Thanks again Marta Kurtyanek

I totally trust dr Mahli, he was brilliant for both of my operations, total hip replacement and total knee replacement. He was always available if I needed advice or to boost my confidence. I can’t speak highly enough of him. I would recommend him to anyone.
